Leaving the pharmaceutical industry

After gaining a Master’s Degree in Chemistry, I went on to work in the pharmaceutical industry, in a lab that synthesised radioactive API’s (active pharmaceutical ingredients) for clinical trials.

As someone with a deep passion for science and its application to improve human health, this initially seemed like a good fit, it became clear that many health-related issues people face today could be solved with lifestyle changes, without the need for pharmaceutical interventions.

We must address the root causes of ill-health, in the way we live, from our diet, how we move (or don’t move!) and the way we handle stress.

A holistic ethos

I help people transform their health and how they feel in their bodies through a holistic, science-based approach that encourages people to improve each variable that contributes to the overall sum of their health.

Together, we will focus on:

  • Strength training that builds muscle, increases bone density and expands range of motion through natural movement patterns

  • Nervous system regulation to manage stress levels, improve performance and recovery

  • Nutrition to fuel the body with high-quality nutrients to balance energy levels

  • Supplementation to fill gaps within the diet

  • Improving mindset, thought patterns and limiting beliefs
